JOB TITLE: SENIOR WEB-MOBILEAPP DEVELOPER
LOCATION: BANGALORE, INDIA
OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:
The client is a leading provider of Internet, Mobile and multichannel banking, ATM and card payment solutions to the worldwide financial services industry. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual, with a strong interest in software development, to join our Digital team as a Senior Developer. You will be responsible for providing high quality software for our Internet & Mobile applications, implementing new business requirements and maintaining existing functionality on the Internet & Mobile components of CR2’s retail banking product - BankWorld.
LIST OF DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
ï‚· Designing and implementing new features both on your own and as a member of a feature-driven
team.
ï‚· Creating client-side branding in a complex rich-client application.
ï‚· Design and implementation of new features to agreed timelines.
ï‚· Following sound software design, process and quality practices, proactively participate in design and
code reviews.
ï‚· Provide mentoring and technical support to more junior members of the team
ï‚· Assist with the maintaining and support of new and existing features by liaising with the support
teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
ï‚· Participating in all facets of team development by actively participating in staff mentoring and
personal development.
ï‚· Keeping abreast of new technical developments to enhance or revolutionize the product and
customer experience.
ï‚· Travel to customer sites to support the deployment of new features, and to other company offices.
ï‚· Occasionally provide out of hours support for the product.
ï‚· Any other related tasks as required by the line manager.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS, STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS ARE:
ï‚· Honours Degree or Diploma in Computer Science.
ï‚· 5+ years proven experience in modern Web development using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, JQuery &
responsive web design (RWD) skills.
ï‚· 3+ years of experience building web and mobile applications using Angular 2+, Ionic 3+ and
Typescript. Knowledge of AngularJS(1.x) and NodeJS a bonus
ï‚· Strong Object oriented Design & Programming skills.
ï‚· Excellent written and verbal communication skills using the English-language.
ï‚· High level of attention to detail and strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
ï‚· Ability to work across multiple product areas and remain quality and customer-focused.
DESIR ABLE SKI LLS:
ï‚· Experience using Adobe Dreamweaver.
ï‚· Experience in a non-scripting programming language e.g. Objective-C/C++/C#/Java on Windows
and/or Linux environments.
ï‚· Experience in writing multi-threaded applications.
ï‚· Experience with modern Client/Server architectures.
ï‚· Experience with distributed architectures.
ï‚· Experience with TCP/IP Socket Programming.
ï‚· Familiarity with JSON, XML and XPath technologies.
ï‚· Experience of software testing and methodologies.
ï‚· Experience of software debugging.
ï‚· Experience with software systems in the banking sector.
ï‚· Knowledge of common design patterns would be a distinct advantage.
